After taking two years to help in the redesign of a certain car... Dom as returned to his team to manage once again. As he returned he found his shop still standing, though caked with dust from the lack of use. He dusted off his phone book and began going back through his last team roster to see who wanted to ride again. First call was to then captain Hovland (now 42). He loved this team when it was shut down and was excited to return, but 42 was just too old so he decided to return to the team as a trainer. Kirkland and Cirne also expressed interest in returning in a trainer role but have not yet going.
Riders returning include current team Captain Hardt and TT specialist Hyder. Though past their prime they were willing to ride until new young guys were added to take over. The rest of the team returned though they are more just reliving glory days than planning on being competitive.
His last two calls were to his trusted talent scouts. Eddie, constantly scouring Canada for the next superstar, found J.Lowder (age 22). Rated as a 190 Sprinter with a chance to attack hill races if he can learnt o handle his bike on them as well. Richard is the one in charge of scouting free agents and he went hard to work. 20 scouts blown and only one rider found. The young Brit C.Oertling (age 21) has been brought on as a potential 190 TTer to train under Hyder (current 189 TTer). Look for weekly updates from Velo Hyundai as they begin to race again!
